Noah Maina

Noah Maina is a Network Infrastructure Professional with extensive Internet & Telecommunication Industry experience spanning 15 years with expertise in TCP/IP packet-switching based network design, deployment, scaling and automation. Besides building Internet network infrastructure across AFRICA, Noah has helped small ISP companies to achieve their ROI on Network & Systems Infrastructure investments.

From National ISP’s to Multinational Global Network Service Providers like SEACOM, Noah has played a role in the building of the Internet Transport Infrastructure carrying traffic between 1Gbps to 100Gbps ethernet links that have fundamentally changed the digital landscape and trajectory of the AFRICAN continent so to speak the Eastern Coast.

Noah is well known within the Internet Exchange Point’s community due to his role as Peering Coordinator at SEACOM. Noah is a passionate volunteer and an expert instructor for over a decade and has transferred technical industry skills to hundreds of Engineers across the network operators ecosystem in Tanzania and through out AFRICA i.e. tzNOG, AfNOG, Africa Internet Summit (AIS), SAFNOG, NSRC, Binary Institute (BIT), TERNET & Internet Society (ISOC).

Noah is a former ASO-AC counselor and AFRINIC representative on the Number Resource Organisation (NRO) a branch of ICANN.
